GFL Founder and CEO named to Canada’s Most Admired™ CEOs

Congratulations to our Founder and CEO, Patrick Dovigi, who has been named the Waterstone Human Capital 2022 Canada’s Most Admired™ CEO in the Enterprise category.

The most admired CEO acknowledgement recognizes a select group of distinguished CEOs for outstanding career achievements, with specific focus on those who have successfully created an organizational culture that promotes superior performance and maintains a competitive edge. Awardees are chosen by the Canada’s Most Admired™ CEO Board of Governors, which comprises past winners and prominent leaders. 

Since he founded GFL in 2007, Patrick has instilled a deeply entrepreneurial and innovative culture at GFL. Under his leadership, GFL has grown from a single solid waste operation east of Toronto to the fourth largest provider of environmental solutions in North America, with locations coast-to-coast in Canada and in half of U.S. states.

Patrick will be honored alongside fellow awardees at the Canada’s Most Admired™ Gala in March 2023.
