GFL is pleased to offer confidential document shredding to businesses in Prince Edward Island. As our bins are locked, your discarded documents are protected from the time they are inserted into the bins until they are shredded. We offer different types of bins for different amounts of paper.

42” Secure Paper Cart

Holds up to 220 lbs of paper. Our largest lock lid secure heavy duty cart. This holds capacity for larger, private, and sensitive documents for shredding services. Dimensions of the Secure Paper Cart, or Lockjaw Cart, are 23″ width x 29″ depth x 42″ height.

30” Secure Paper Console

Holds up to 50 lbs of paper. Our compact lock lid secure console. This holds capacity for smaller operations where private, and sensitive, documents for shredding services will require storage and security. Dimensions of the Secure Paper Cart, or Shredinator, are 12-5/8″ width x 17″ depth x 30″ height.

36” Secure Paper Console

Holds up to 60 lbs of paper. Our mid-size paper storage console. This console holds capacity for medium size, private, and sensitive shredding services. Dimensions of the Secure Paper Console, or Slim Boy Console, are 22.75″ width x 15.75″ depth x 36″ height. This console also comes with a convenient locked door which offers a small opening for document placement.

Our PEI team is proud to give back in volunteer hours and local donations to charities that shape the PEI area and make a difference to our local community. Through the Full Circle Project (FCP), our local team contributes to organizations that better serve where we live and work.

Stars for Life

The Stars for Life Foundation is committed to creating a quality of life for young people with autism spectrum disorder, fully included in their community; with a commitment to continued education, life and job skills training and inclusion.

As an organization built and supported by the community, GFL was pleased to be able to support their cause through a donation of $5,000, to help operate and expand the first Resource Centre and home for young people with autism spectrum disorders. Our dedicated team were also pleased to assist with the organization of the Evening of the Stars Gala event.

Soup Kitchen Food Bank – Upper Room Hospitality Ministry

With food insecurity becoming a growing concern, GFL was pleased to support the Upper Room, a food bank located in Charlottetown, PEI. Offering meals to individuals in need of food security, the Upper Room has supported many across the island, from newcomers to the local population. GFL donated $5,000 to the Upper Room, and has also had 15 local staff members volunteer their time to the food bank throughout the year, lending a helping hand across Christmas and also filling food hampers to deliver to families in need.
