Pauls Valley Animal Welfare Society
GFL proudly supports Pauls Valley Animal Welfare Society in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. The charity provides compassionate care for lost and abandoned animals, operating as a no-kill shelter. As a local neighbor to GFL’s MSW landfill and hauling site, the local team was pleased to be able to volunteer their time to the organization. GFL also donated $5,000 towards the organization to support their cause.
Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma
Based in Oklahoma City, the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma distributes food through a network of more than 1,300 community-based partner agencies and schools in 53 counties in central and western Oklahoma. A leader in educating the public on hunger, the Food Bank also advocates for those living with hunger and providing access to additional resources. GFL was pleased to donate $3,000 to the Food Bank to support the purchase of items such as meat and protein that are not readily donated. Our employees also volunteer with the Food Bank around the holidays to help support their cause.
Special Olympics Oklahoma
GFL is pleased to support the Special Olympics in Cushing, Oklahoma, an organization that provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Our $5,000 donation has allowed us to support the organization in their cause to offer individuals the opportunity to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
