Community Involvement In Taylors, SC

It’s always been a vital part of our mission to take care of the communities we serve and give back to them in any way that we can.

The Full Circle Project (FCP) is GFL’s unique, community-driven charitable giving program that engages our customers by giving them a say in how our donations are directed. Our goal is to support local, high-impact charities that make a difference within our communities. Friends of the Little White House

GFL proudly supports Friends of the Little White House in Mauldin, South Carolina. The charity provides education and teaches life skills for children with autism. GFL’s donations went towards organizing a pumpkin fundraiser and contributed to the expansion of the facility. Our employees volunteered their time by unloading 2,500 pumpkins for the event and also participated in the 5K Run for Autism.

Hope Center for Children

The Hope Center for Children provides children with a safe space from abuse and neglect, offering them shelter, education and support. GFL was pleased to donate funds to support the different houses for children. Our employees have also volunteered their time to wrap Christmas presents for the children and help with the Annual Winter Gala fundraiser.

Platypus Adventures

GFL is pleased to support Platypus Adventures, an organization that provides activities and adventures for children and youth with special needs. Our donations have allowed the charity to purchase adaptive bikes for children taking part in the Tri My Best Triathlon. As a cause that is close to many of our local employees, they have volunteered as buddies or buddy assistants to children participating in the Triathlon, supporting them through the event and cheering them on.
