Materials are to be placed on the curb or pavement edge no later than 7 a.m. on the day of collection. Waste collection is not a scheduled service and collection times can vary between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. (with the exception of unforeseen events which may cause collection to be later).
Please remove your materials from the curb and set out next week for collection or bring your Blue Bin materials to the East Gwillimbury Household Hazardous Waste & Recycling Depot for proper disposal.
The total weight of any receptacle shall not exceed 22 kg (50 lb).

Blue Bins must have open tops (no lids, bungee cords, tape or ties) and be easily identifiable as containing Blue Bin materials. They also must be capable of containing materials without spillage and shall not exceed 50 cm (20 in) in height and 50 cm (20 in) in width and 66 cm (26 in) in length.
Note: Blue Bin materials are not accepted in plastic bags.

Any receptacle placed out for collection which is broken or which breaks when lifted will not be collected. Please remove your materials from the curb and set out next week for collection with a new container.
Town-issued damaged Blue Bins and Green Bins will be replaced, at no cost, provided that the damaged bin is available for exchange. Broken Town-issued Blue Bins or Green Bins can be exchanged by calling 1-866-421-5625 to arrange for a replacement.
Containers shall be placed as close as possible to the curb or pavement edge of the road without obstructing vehicular traffic or street maintenance. Containers shall not be placed on top of snow banks or blocked by any obstructions including parked cars and moving trucks.
