GFL Environmental has received digital publication Waste Dive’s 2018 Dive Award for Company of the Year. GFL was recognized for its significant growth in the United States following the acquisition of Waste Industries and Future Environmental earlier in the year, now operating in 20 US states after previously being located only in Michigan. The Dive Awards recognize notable companies, executives, agencies and organizations that are contributing to shaping the waste industry’s long-term future.
