GFL offers convenient residential waste collection services in Figure Eight, North Carolina. Whether it’s customers under municipal contracts or individual residents through our subscription service, we offer regular, reliable curbside pickup and provide you with the necessary containers to hold your waste. This includes a 96-gallon trash container and a 96-gallon recycling bin.

GFL’s trash bins can hold up to nine (9) household garbage bags on average. Please make sure to follow the container placement guidelines when setting your bins out at the curb.

Our Wilmington, NC team is proud to give back in volunteer hours and local donations to charities that shape the Wilmington area and make a difference to our local community. Through the Full Circle Project (FCP), our local team contributes to organizations that better serve where we live and work.
GFL was delighted to support Cape Fear River Watch in their mission to protect and improve the water quality of the Cape Fear River Basin, one of the largest watersheds in North Carolina. With our $5,000 donation, we helped fund kayaks and canoes for volunteers who give their time to tirelessly clean up the waterways in New Hanover County.
GFL was proud to support the Friends of the Battleship NC with a $2,500 donation. The funds contributed to the restoration of the Battleship North Carolina and supported the Parkway Subaru Battleship NC Half Marathon, one of the oldest half marathons in the South, which brings the Wilmington community together.
The Good Shepherd Center in Wilmington plays a vital role in addressing homelessness by offering food, shelter and support for individuals transitioning to permanent housing. GFL has assisted the charity over the years and was pleased to donate $5,000 to support The Good Shepherd Center’s mission and provide essential resources for their programs. Beyond the monetary donation, our local employees volunteered their time to help with kitchen cleanups, organize food pantries and collect outerwear for the homeless.
