GFL is proud to support the city of Marietta and its historic neighborhoods. Through GFL’s Full Circle Project (FCP), we partner with regional non-profit organizations to advance blood cancer research, environmental conservation, and pediatric health services.
Supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
GFL provides a $10,000 FCP grant under Cancer and Medical Wellness to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to curing blood cancers. The organization’s work is deeply meaningful to our ATL West branch, as one of our Sales Managers is a blood cancer survivor following a 2010 bone marrow transplant. Ten GFL employee volunteers participate in LLS’s Light The Night walk to honor patients and survivors.
Championing Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta
GFL maintains a five-year tradition of supporting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) with a $7,500 Corporate Mascot Sponsorship. During CHOA’s annual holiday celebration on Peachtree Street, GFL showcases a real service truck alongside family activities like ice-skating, a parade, and fireworks. Eight GFL employee volunteers attend the event’s Breakfast with Santa to assist staff and guest families.
Partnering with Keep Carroll Beautiful
GFL contributes $5,000 under Nature Conservation to Keep Carroll Beautiful to fund community recycling initiatives, including paint, electronics, tire amnesty, and paper shredding events. A GFL representative serves on the charity’s board of directors, and GFL volunteers participate on-site during Household Hazardous Waste collection days and six seasonal events scheduled from April to November.
