For oceanfront resorts, high-volume dining complexes, and multi-family communities in Ocean Isle Beach, maximizing waste volume reduction is essential for site hygiene and efficiency. GFL’s advanced compactor systems are engineered to pack heavy volumes of commercial waste, locking in odors and preventing liquid leaks in coastal weather. Whether you oversee commercial facilities in the Causeway Commercial District & 1st Street Strip, manage properties near the Ocean Isle Beach Pier, or direct venues near The Swamp Park and Tubbs Inlet, our compaction units optimize your waste stream. GFL provides complete site design, installation, and scheduled hauling for self-contained, stationary, vertical impact, and apartment & high-rise compactor systems.
Self-Contained Compactor
Self-contained compactors primarily handle wet waste and processed food. They are commonly used by restaurants, offices, schools, hospitals, grocery stores, and large factories.
Stationary Compactor
Stationary compactors are primarily used for dry waste and recyclable material such as cardboard, mixed paper and plastic. This makes them ideal for large restaurants, offices, hospitals, department stores, industrial and manufacturing centers.
Vertical Impact Compactor
These small trash compactors are typically designed to take dry goods such as cardboard, paper, plastic, and more.
PreCrusher Compactor
PreCrushers are specialized stationary compactor units used in conjunction with industrial or heavy-duty compactors to break down large amounts of dry and wet waste.
Apartment and High Rise Compactors
Apartment and high rise compactors are primarily designed to take dry waste and low waste volumes, usually around 150 cubic yards or less.
Compaction Container
Compaction containers can compact both dry and wet waste.

GFL pairs industrial waste management with active local philanthropy across Ocean Isle Beach. Through GFL’s Full Circle Project (FCP), we invest in regional non-profits that empower students, support athletes, and assist vulnerable families.
GFL proudly partnered with the Rotary Club of South Brunswick Islands through a $5,000 FCP donation under the Arts, Culture, and Education class. These proceeds directly fund reading programs developed in partnership with Brunswick Community College. Eight of our local team members volunteered to attend their annual event, supporting childhood learning.
GFL donated $5,000 to the Special Olympics of Brunswick County, supporting sports training and year-round competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. To show our local branch support, 15 GFL employees took the plunge in the annual polar plunge charity fundraiser.
To support local poverty reduction and storm-rebuilding initiatives, GFL contributed $7,500 to Brunswick County Habitat for Humanity. Habitat’s focus on salvaging and reusing materials directly keeps waste out of local landfills. Fifteen GFL volunteers participate in home builds and coordinate lunches for volunteers.
From self-contained industrial compactors to residential cart collections, GFL Environmental is Ocean Isle Beach’s trusted partner for high-volume waste control. Our equipment solutions streamline waste management and cut trip frequencies for your enterprise. Call 910.338.2919 to get started today.
