GFL offers the following services to customers in Prescott, WI, Ellsworth, WI, Spring Valley, WI, and Rural Pierce, Pepin, St. Croix, Dakota and Goodhue Counties:
Trash and Recycling
GFL offers residential and commercial garbage collection service, and a variety of garbage container options:
- Small: 35-gallon cart (2 standard-sized kitchen bags)
- Medium: 65-gallon cart (4 standard-sized kitchen bags)
- Large: 95-gallon cart (6 standard-sized kitchen bags)
- X-Large (Dumpsters are available)
Based on typical use we recommend a 65-gallon cart for a family of four who recycle their waste.
We also offer single stream recycling pickup to customers in certain areas – please contact us to learn more.
Roll-Off Rentals
GFL dumpsters are available for your cleanup, construction or demolition needs. To learn more about our roll-off rental services, click here.
Please note the following terms and conditions that apply to roll-off rentals in your area:
- The customer is responsible for location or placement of box. The driver reserves the right to refuse to set a box in an unsafe or impractical location. GFL is not responsible for any yard or driveway damages.
- A time limit on the container will apply unless prior arrangements are made.
- Customer accepts responsibility for overload charges.
Weight limits
Overweight charges will apply after load exceeds the weight limits below:
- 10 yd. – up to 4,000 lbs.
- 15 yd. – up to 5,500 lbs.
- 20 yd. – up to 7,000 lbs.
- 30 yd. – up to 9,000 lbs.
- 40 yd. – up to 13,500 lbs.
- 10 TON MAXIMUM – LEVEL LOAD
You will be charged extra for these items disposed of in your roll-off:
- Appliances
- Electronics
- Tires
The following items are NOT accepted:
- Liquids (grease, oil, paint, etc.)
- Oil filters
- Hazardous waste
- Medical waste
- Yard waste
Transfer Station
Our transfer station is a location for you to drop off waste such as household trash, bulky items and construction materials. Acceptable items are listed below.
The following items are accepted:
- Household trash
- Appliances
- Furniture
- Mattresses
- Construction and demolition debris
- Wood
- Tires
- Shingles
The following items are NOT accepted:
- Oil filters
- Hazardous waste
- Medical waste
- Yard waste
Instructions to drop off items:
- When you turn into GFL, follow the orange and black sign located beside the office. The arrow will direct you to drive to the front of the office and stop on the scale (see picture). A GFL employee will weigh your vehicle and signal you to continue onwards to dump your items.
- Dispose of your items inside building.
- Drive back to the scale, the opposite way you came in. A GFL employee will reweigh your vehicle. You will be signaled to continue on to the window.
- Pay at the customer service window.
Directions
From Red Wing, MN:
- Follow US-63 N into Wisconsin and continue for about 2 miles.
- Turn left on HWY 35 and continue to follow for 5 miles into Diamond Bluff.
- We are located on the right.
From Ellsworth, WI:
- Follow US-63 S for 9 miles.
- Turn right on HWY 35 and continue to follow for 5.6 miles into Diamond Bluff.
- We are located on the right.
From Prescott, WI:
- Follow HWY 35 for about 13 miles into Diamond Bluff.
- We are located on the left.
