Full Circle Project 2022 Highlights

The Full Circle Project (FCP) is GFL’s inspirational, unique, community-driven charitable giving program that supports local charities making a real difference in the heart of our communities.

FCP activity thrived during 2022 with 127 branches in nine Canadian provinces and 19 US states donating over CA $2.5 million in funding to over 200 different projects.

Here are some 2022 project highlights from each of our charity classes:

Animal Welfare

The charities supported in this class work to protect and improve the lives of animals in need.

Endangered Animal Rescue Sanctuary (E.A.R.S)
GFL branch: Ocala, Florida

Through FCP, GFL donated US $9,000 to E.A.R.S, a shelter that cares for endangered animals by providing them with a natural habitat, nutrition and health care. The local GFL team members helped to build and upgrade a fence, painted a new bathroom facility and completed landscape work.

Calgary Humane Society
GFL branch: Calgary, Alberta

GFL donated CA $10,000 towards the dog kennel, part of the Building Improvement Enhancement Project, and general expenses at the shelter. As a Community Champion partner, FCP provided 25 tickets for local families to attend Hound n’ Sound, CHS’s 100th birthday celebration.

Cancer and Medical Wellness

This class supports charities that conduct research into cures, develop technologies and work to enhance the lives of children and adults who live with chronic health issues.
