Learn More About Our Upcoming ProjectsSampson county facility was recently permitted with their joint venture company to construct a renewable natural gas (RNG) facility. RNG is primarily methane and carbon dioxide that often comes from the breakdown of organic waste materials such as those found at the landfill. These gases can be collected, cleaned, and can be used in place of fossil natural gas. It can be used to fuel homes, businesses and even vehicles. Benefits of RNG projects include improved air quality and greenhouse gas emissions as well as economic benefits and it is a sustainable material. It is expected that that Sampson County RNG facility should be.
