GFL trucks collect the recyclable items from the drop-off sites and deliver them to third party processing facilities to be sorted, cleaned and processed into materials that can be beneficially used by businesses, with the added benefit of keeping these materials out of the landfill.
Acceptable Recyclables
- Plastic – including bottles, tubs, jugs, and jars (please rinse and empty)
- Metal – including steel and tin cans (please rinse and empty)
- Glass – including glass bottles and jars (please rinse and empty)
- Paper – paper including all paper, cartons, and cardboard (please flatten boxes)
Please don’t bag your recyclables.

- Tanglers like cords, hoses, wires
- Tires
- Toys
