High-volume commercial spaces, manufacturing facilities, and large-scale residential developments in northern Brunswick County require commercial-grade waste compaction. GFL Environmental designs advanced compactor programs for commercial developments bordering Cape Fear National Golf Course and the busy medical complexes near Brunswick Forest. Commercial developers, industrial operators, and busy retail property managers require heavy-duty compaction to manage daily high-capacity waste. GFL delivers an array of self-contained, stationary, and vertical impact compactors, alongside high-rise compaction containers. Operating locally from Bolivia, we pride ourselves on dependable service, offering same-day dispatch in select cases, backed by real, local customer service representatives instead of a centralized call center.
Self-Contained Compactor
Self-contained compactors primarily handle wet waste and processed food. They are commonly used by restaurants, offices, schools, hospitals, grocery stores, and large factories.
Stationary Compactor
Stationary compactors are primarily used for dry waste and recyclable material such as cardboard, mixed paper and plastic. This makes them ideal for large restaurants, offices, hospitals, department stores, industrial and manufacturing centers.
Vertical Impact Compactor
These small trash compactors are typically designed to take dry goods such as cardboard, paper, plastic, and more.
PreCrusher Compactor
PreCrushers are specialized stationary compactor units used in conjunction with industrial or heavy-duty compactors to break down large amounts of dry and wet waste.
Apartment and High Rise Compactors
Apartment and high rise compactors are primarily designed to take dry waste and low waste volumes, usually around 150 cubic yards or less.
Compaction Container
Compaction containers can compact both dry and wet waste.

Through our flagship Full Circle Project, GFL directs corporate donations and volunteer support to local charities that empower families across Brunswick County.
GFL proudly partnered with the Rotary Club of South Brunswick Islands through a $5,000 FCP donation under the Arts, Culture, and Education class. These proceeds directly fund reading programs developed in partnership with Brunswick Community College. Eight of our local team members volunteered to attend their annual event, supporting childhood learning.
GFL donated $5,000 to the Special Olympics of Brunswick County, supporting sports training and year-round competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. To show our local branch support, 15 GFL employees took the plunge in the annual polar plunge charity fundraiser.
To support local poverty reduction and storm-rebuilding initiatives, GFL contributed $7,500 to Brunswick County Habitat for Humanity. Habitat’s focus on salvaging and reusing materials directly keeps waste out of local landfills. Fifteen GFL volunteers participate in home builds and coordinate lunches for volunteers.
From specialized compaction containers to front-load dumpster leasing, GFL Environmental offers high-capacity waste solutions to Leland businesses. Our personalized local support streamlines operations while keeping retail zones immaculate. Reach out to 910.338.2919 to get started.
