Compactors in Québec

Self-Contained Compactor

These standalone compactors are designed to accommodate high volume liquid applications, discourage pests and scavengers, reduce fires, and control offensive odors from any fumes created. Self-contained compactors primarily handle wet waste and processed food. They are commonly used by restaurants, offices, schools, hospitals, grocery stores, and large factories.

Stationary Compactor

Stationary compactors are typically bolted or welded permanently to the ground for the purpose of packing waste material into a compaction trailer or container, which are subsequently disposed of or hauled to landfills to be emptied. They are primarily used for dry waste and recyclable material such as cardboard, mixed paper and plastic. This makes them ideal for large restaurants, offices, hospitals, department stores, industrial and manufacturing centers.

Vertical Impact Compactor

A vertical impact compactor, or a front-loaded vehicle service compactor, is easily emptied using a front load vehicle. They are often smaller in size, which makes them ideal for businesses operating within confined spaces. These compactors are typically designed for dry goods such as cardboard, paper, plastic, and more.

PreCrusher Compactor

PreCrushers are specialized stationary compactor units used in conjunction with industrial or heavy-duty compactors to break down large amounts of dry and wet waste. Because of their power and strength, PreCrushers are commonly used to break down difficult to compact materials such as crates, barrels, appliances, scrap steel, and more.

Apartment and High Rise Compactors

Apartment and highrise compactors are hand-feed operators, chute systems, or through-the-wall installations that allow for easy disposal of waste on multiple floor levels. Every compactor is designed to be conveniently loaded by residents and tenants without the need for special training. These compactors are primarily designed to take dry waste and low waste volumes, usually around 150 cubic yards or less.

Compaction Container

Compaction containers are a special type of compactor designed with a contoured end, which creates a rolling effect that allows the compactor to compress the solid waste inside the container. They are commonly used by organizations that generate an abundance of waste. Compaction containers can compact both dry and wet waste.

Front End Dumpster

Roll Off Bins

A roll-off dumpster is a large, open, container that is hauled away entirely at each dump.
