Eagle Point Landfill (EPLF) is considered an essential industry and continues to remain open during the Covid-19 pandemic. We are continuing to follow the Center for Disease Control guidelines on preventing the spread of Covid-19, maintaining social distancing for our staff and the public. Our hours of operation have changed Monday through Friday from 4.30 am to 430 pm. Saturday hours are 0700am to 1200pm. If you have any questions related to these changes, please let us know.
GFL Environmental will hold the 2022 Quarterly meeting 6pm to 8pm on the following dates.
This meeting will be held as a virtual meeting. We request that you RSVP your attendance and the number of attendees by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com. An RSVP will be necessary to receive an invite for the virtual meeting. The meeting will be held using Microsoft Teams. An invite will be distributed with a link to join the meeting. Eagle Point Landfill continues to execute our odor monitoring program that includes routine checks for odor at preset locations within the landfill property and the surrounding Community.
We understand some folks are still sheltering in place following Centers for Disease Control and Georgia guidance on controlling the spread of COVID-19. We are maintaining our focus on controlling landfill odor sources and not allowing odors offsite. EPLF is considered an essential industry and will remain open and fully staffed during the pandemic.
Please contact the EPLF General Manager, Scott Mann (email@example.com) or the County if you do experience odor that may be coming from the Landfill.
