Odor

Eagle Point Landfill continues to execute our odor monitoring program that includes routine checks for odor at preset locations within the landfill property and the surrounding Community.

We understand some folks are still sheltering in place following Centers for Disease Control and Georgia guidance on controlling the spread of COVID-19. We are maintaining our focus on controlling landfill odor sources and not allowing odors offsite. EPLF is considered an essential industry and will remain open and fully staffed during the pandemic.

Please contact the EPLF General Manager, Scott Mann (scott.mann@gflenv.com) or the County if you do experience odor that may be coming from the Landfill.
