Frequently Asked Questions

Colorado Springs Community

Colorado Springs Community
GFL Environmental is proud to serve the greater Colorado Springs area for residential and commercial trash and recycling needs.  We understand that our customers may have questions about their routes, holidays, trash, and recycling materials. Our customers are truly what drive us to provide a community that is Green for Life, and therefore, we’ve included some helpful links below to better serve them.

Is your email address up to date with us?
We will send out automated email notifications if your route’s pickups are expected to be delayed. If you’re not getting these emails, make sure your email address is updated with us by calling 719.633.8709 or sending us a message via your customer account portal.

Delayed or think your pickup was missed?
You should receive an automated email notification if your pickup is to be delayed. In that case, we’ll do our best to collect the same day. Please allow our crews time through 7 pm to collect. If you’re not picked up by that time, we will attempt to collect the following day. Make sure to put your bins back out the following day by 7 am.

Holiday Pickup Schedule
Unless otherwise noted, service that falls on the holidays listed below will be completed the following day, and service for subsequent days in the same week will also be completed one day later.
