Due to inclement weather and hazardous road conditions, GFL suspended collection service in Brunswick County, North Carolina, for Wednesday, January 22, Thursday, January 23, and Friday, January 24. Customers who were scheduled for collection on Friday, January 24 will receive service this week on their regularly scheduled service day of Friday, January 31. At this time, we will accept extra bagged household trash. Please note that recycling collection for customers affected by the storm on Thursday, January 23 and Friday, January 24 has been rescheduled to the next regular recycling service day. Recycling will now be collected on Thursday, February 6, and Friday, February 7, respectively. Extra recyclable goods that do not fit in the cart may be placed beside it in a cardboard box or paper bag. Plastic bags of recyclable goods will not be accepted.
